Our Mission
The Mission of Pass It Forward Foundation is to transform the lives of underserved youth & skidrow residents by empowering their communities with resources through the art of sports.
Vision
To Solve Social Challenges
Our vision is for PIF Foundation is to be nationally recognized as a foundation for transformative work in the artistic expression of sports, creative youth development, nurturing and sustaining communities where youth, regardless of economic or racial background, are leaders engaging positively in their communities, positively protecting each other, serving as role models and mentors to following generations, and possess the self-discipline, confidence and motivation to reach their full potential.
P.I.F
We take pride in bridging the gap between youth, sports, education, and community service to help solve the world's problems.
Our goal is to positively assist the emerging future leaders of our community in mental, physical, emotional and financial development. Give them a platform to share their experiences, play basketball and bond with others in their community. Our organization will provide them with resources through partnerships for educational services, scholarships, clothing, feminine products, hygiene kits and business development skills. We currently train youth and young adults in basketball, track and field and speed development.
Although girls are a priority for our organization we provide resource services and training to ALL youth of different physical and mental backgrounds. We offer private and group training sessions to individuals with special needs as well. PIF currently caters to athletes mostly out of Inglewood, South Los Angeles, East L.A, Culver City and the Santa Monica C.A area, let your city be next!
Strategic Partnerships
Innovation
We actively support our local community with strategic thinking and access to transformative resources to enable expansion of assistance. We look to awaken innovation across the region and around the world. Assistance is extended to all individuals of Los Angeles county. We are also proud to be working with local parks and organizations of the Los Angeles County community, to extend these services and resources to our youth directly.
What do we do exactly?
Athletically train, Educate and Mentor youth and young adults!
We train athletes for free under our nonprofit PIF Foundation. Provide them with; nutritional food, access to NBA and WNBA games, local youth basketball tournaments and sports events all for FREE! Our goal is to continue to use our service of sports, education, life skills and a healthy meal plan, to support families and keep their youth active and healthy.
We also offer training and coaching of athletes who join our paid training PIF L.A AAU basketball teams. Training in both groups comes with life skills, strength and conditioning training . Our motto is creating unity in our community. We give our youth well rounded resources and assist them on their road to success in achieving their personal and team goals.
We recently added our Jump Start Program for underserved youth and homeless. Thanks to Los Angeles county we will feed those in need once a month at Gladys Park! We will also distribute sports toiletry packages to underserved youth!
